Senja Decor Inc. – Warranty Policy

At Senja Decor Inc., the maker of Umeiluce lighting, we are committed to craftsmanship and quality. We stand behind our products and want to ensure your complete satisfaction. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage provided for your Umeiluce products.
1. Who is Covered?
This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product from an authorized retailer of Senja Decor Inc.
2. What is Covered and for How Long?
Senja Decor Inc. warrants that its Umeiluce lighting products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the periods specified below, starting from the original date of purchase.
All Lighting Fixtures: One (1) Year Limited Warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship.
Integrated LED Light Engines & Drivers: One (1) Year Limited Warranty. This specifically covers the failure of integrated LED modules or drivers (e.g., the light stops working entirely, flickers persistently, or dims significantly through no fault of the electrical supply).
3. What Will We Do?
If a defect in materials or workmanship arises during the applicable warranty period, Senja Decor Inc., at its sole option, will either:
a) Repair the defective product or component, or
b) Replace the defective product or component with a new or refurbished unit, or
c) Refund the purchase price of the product.
This is your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty.
4. What is Not Covered? (Warranty Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover, and Senja Decor Inc. is not responsible for, any of the following:
Normal Wear and Tear: Aging, weathering, or natural wear of the product.
Improper Use or Installation: Damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation, or failure to follow the provided care and installation instructions.
External Factors: Damage from external causes such as fire, flooding, acts of nature, power surges, voltage outside specified limits, or chemical exposure.
Cosmetic Issues: Minor variations in color, texture, or finish that are inherent in the handmade nature of some products. Natural aging of materials, including slight yellowing of polycarbonate/acrylic over time, is not a defect.
Site Conditions: Costs associated with removal, re-installation, or shipping of the product. Damage resulting from faulty building structures or wiring is not covered.
Customer Damage: Any damage noted upon delivery must be reported to Senja Decor Inc. and the shipping carrier within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to do so will result in a claim being denied.
Third-Party Products: Components not manufactured by Senja Decor Inc. (e.g., light bulbs unless integrated) are covered only by their respective manufacturers' warranties.
Warping: Warping of wooden or plastic components due to environmental factors (humidity, temperature).
Product Modifications: Any product that has been modified, altered, or repaired by anyone not authorized by us.
Please note: the digital images and product dimensions on our website are as accurate as possible, due to differences in computer monitors, some furniture colors may vary slightly, lengths and widths may vary from the published dimensions, we do our best to provide you with an exact measurement, but please be advised that some variation exists.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim?
To obtain warranty service, please contact our customer service team to initiate a claim. You will be required to provide:
Your original proof of purchase number(receipt/invoice).
The model number and a description of the product.
A detailed description of the alleged defect, supported by photographs or video.
Upon validation of your claim, we will provide instructions for the return of the defective item, if necessary. All returned items must be in their original packaging to be accepted.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENJA DECOR INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR COSTS OF REMOVAL OR RE-INSTALLATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES AND DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
7. Implied Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
8. Governing Law
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province.
9. Policy Changes
Senja Decor Inc. reserves the right to amend this Warranty Policy. Changes will not apply retroactively and will take effect upon posting to our website.
